Investigation into the variety of music that is available from the growing number of commercial, legitimate music download web sites operating in Europe.
For this test, conducted in August/September 2005 we used seven Internet music-download websites from the UK, France, Germany and the Netherlands and searched for culturally diverse music titles that represented a range of different specialist music genres. The test revealed a lack of cultural diversity, as a number of music albums requested are not available.
