Investigation on the limitations that may be present on purchased music downloads from major online suppliers and on how these limitations restrict the consumer’s traditional ability to transfer their music between platforms and players.
In this test conducted in August/September 2005, we checked out different online music stores and the most successful portable music players. In most cases, it is not possible to download and read a music file with a given format on players designed for a different format.
